According to Filigree Business Unit Head Daphne Sanchez, the property collaborated with the best industry experts in architecture and interior design. Among those involved in the project is architect Andy Locsin of the world-class Filipino firm Leandro V. Locsin Partners.

Locsin reinforces the notion that luxury living, as seen in Two Botanika, means being able to enjoy the little things people take for granted.

“It is going back to the simple things—a beautiful garden, bumping into your friends, feeling part of the community, feeling safe, and breathing good air. That is true luxury,” says Locsin.

Responsible and eco-friendly design were factors he considered when taking on the project.

“One of the core values of this project is the ability to live an environmentally-ethical life. I think that is one of the aspects that the clients are looking for,” he adds.

Filigree also engaged the services of New York-trained interior designer Tina Periquet of Periquet Galicia Inc. who handled the tower’s efficient unit layout and space planning.

For Periquet, designing was not just about making use of empty spaces. She tasked herself to “curate experiences in the home” as seen in the progression of spaces that open up to deep balconies where residents can enjoy the views and extra outdoor space.

“The concept of the building is you’re in a vertical village. So, there is a nice sense of community and it’s really very much in keeping with the overall idea of being in a healthful place where you can just relax and not feel confined the way you normally would in a condo tower. There is a sense of expansiveness, openness, actual ventilation, and daylight,” she shares.

For Periquet, the size of the property isn’t meant to be a lavish display but to give a sense of integrated innate refinement.

“It’s all about nature, light, a space that gives you a sense of wellness. Being on the inside of a curved, well-defined formal shape makes you feel enclosed, safe. And stepping outside, it gives you a sense of being out in the open and free to wander,” she explains.
